Composition: The dry birch bark extract, Cetraria islandica (the Icelandic moss), Origani cretici herba. Prescription: Phytocomplex, containing biologically active substances of a wide spectrum of action, for prophylaxis and in a complex treatment of tuberculosis. Description: The birch bark extract, containing triterpene natural compound Betuline, has adaptogenic properties, raising resistibility of an organism to various harmful influences of the environment. Improvement of resistibility of the organism occurs due to stimulation by Betuline (Betulinol) interferon elaboration and increase of cellular and general immunity, amplification of activity of the some immunocompetent cells, in particular, amplifications of ability of phagocytes to destroy viruses and bacterial cells. In result terms of inflammatory processes and the period of recovery are reduced. The extract improves a functional condition of a liver, protects and restores its cells at chemotherapy. The experiments which have been conducted in the Central Scientific Research Institute of Tuberculosis of Russian Academy of Medical Science (Moscow), have shown its antimicrobial activity in the attitude to mycobacteria of tuberculosis. Cetraria islandica finds wide application for treatment of diseases of upper airways, the extreme emaciation, an anemia, diseases of a gastrointestinal tracts, etc., as restorative, expectoration and anti-inflammatory means. Cetraria islandica contains biologically active substances of various groups: polysaccharides, tannins, and lichen acids, microcells: iron, copper, manganese, titanium, nickel, chromium; vitamins - ascorbic and folic acids, A, В1, В2, В12, and also proteins, fats. Mucous substances of Cetraria islandica operate covering and softening on mucous of upper airways and digestive tract. Lichen acids represent special value, having strong antibacterial action in relation to staphylococcus, to streptococci, and mycobacteria of tuberculosis. Polysaccharides of Cetraria islandica also have interferon stimulating and adaptogenic properties. Origani cretici is a source of flavonoids, tannins, ascorbic acid, essential oils. Origani cretici renders restorative, spasmolytic, calming action and reducing cough reflex action, strengthens secretion bronchial glands. Application of "Tubelon" in a complex treatment of tuberculosis positively influences processes of healing and restoration of lungs and others parenchymatous organs (liver, spleen) on a background of specific antibacterial therapy, reduces toxic action of chemotherapeutic means. Dosage: To accept on 1 capsule per day up to meal, at recommendation of the specialist the doze can be increased. Contraindications: Individual intolerance of components.
