Chaga mushroom extract has two most important characteristics:
1. Chromogenic complex content.
In factualilty Chromogenic complex is a complex of humic acids which are present in a birch wood tar and which is being processed by chaga fungus while its grows. For decades Chaga mushroom has been drawing them out of a birch tree absorbing into itself, obtaining by that way more and more healthy properties. This complex of acids is responsible for antioxidant properties of chaga mushroom and chaga extract. The more content of these acids the extract has the more anticancer properties it gets.
Chaga extract produced by our company Limonnik Ltd, usually contains up to 45%!! of chromogenic polyphenolcarboxylic complex (whereas the standard content is 20-30%). Also it has agaric acid, inotodiol, betaglucan and other mineral substances.
It was called chromogenic because of special color and presence of molecules of different length.
2. Beta glucan content.
In other words this is a content of polysaccharides which are responsible for human immune system support and its active improvement. In opposition to wide spread knowledge that chaga should not be prepared with water warmer than 60-70 ̊ C, we can state that this is not so. Because the polisacharydes can withstand more that 130 ̊ C temperature and are difficult to be extracted from chaga under low temperatures we suggest that it is possible to drink dried chaga and chaga extract mixed with hot water up to 100 ̊ C . Health benefit will still be presented in the drinks.
Do not be afraid to experiment with 100 % natural chaga products, it will never do you any harm unless you ignore the warning about antibiotics and glucose intravenious injections. Try to change recommended dosage and listen to your body, rely on your feelings and soon you will find your personal optimal dosage. Stay healthy!
